Privacy Policy
Meow Block has no accounts and asks for nothing personal. This page explains the little data the game does handle, who it goes to, and the choices you have.
Last updated October 24, 2026Who we are and what this covers
This policy covers the Meow Block app for Android and this website. Meow Block is made for a general audience aged 13 and over. If anything here is unclear, write to us. The address is at the bottom of this page.
What we do not collect
There is no account, no sign-up, no chat and nothing to type in. The game does not collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number or any other contact details
- Your precise location. The game does not ask for location permission.
- Your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera
What stays on your device
Your progress (which levels you have cleared and the board you are in the middle of), your hints and your settings (sound, vibration, block count) are saved only on your phone. So is a random player ID that the game makes on first launch and shows in Settings, so you can quote it if you contact us. None of this is uploaded to us, except that the player ID is attached to crash reports (see below). Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in your phone’s settings, deletes it all permanently.
Advertising
The game is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner below the board, an occasional full-screen ad between levels (never during a puzzle), and optional rewarded videos you can choose to watch for three more hearts or a hint. To show ads and protect against fraud, Google receives technical information such as your device type, operating system, IP address and your device’s advertising ID.
Where the law requires your consent (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the game shows Google’s consent message before any ad is requested, and ads are only personalised if you agree. You can change your choice at any time in Settings, under Privacy choices. Outside those regions, ads may be personalised based on your device’s advertising ID.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone’s settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads, depending on the phone).
Gameplay analytics
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to learn how the game is played so we can improve it: which levels are started, cleared, failed or left, how long they take, how many mistakes and hints are used, which tutorial pages are viewed, and how often players watch an ad. We also record your settings (sound, vibration and block count on or off) and the furthest level reached, so we can see how people play.
These events are linked to a random app-instance ID that Firebase creates when the game is installed, and may also be associated with your device’s advertising ID. They are not linked to your name or any account. Firebase may use your IP address to estimate a general region such as your country. Analytics data is kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
Crash reports
We use Firebase Crashlytics to receive crash reports when the game stops working. A report contains technical details such as your device model, operating system version, app version, and what the game was doing at the time (for example the level number), plus the random player ID shown in Settings so we can find your report if you write to us. None of this is linked to your name. We use it only to find and fix bugs.
Updates and ratings
The game can ask Google Play whether a newer version is available, and may require you to update before playing if your version is too old to work properly. After a few milestone levels it may show Google Play’s rating card. What you do there is covered by Google’s own policy, not by the game.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. The only services that receive data from the game are Google’s, described above, and only for the purposes described above:
This website
This website has no cookies, no analytics, no trackers and no forms. Fonts are served from this site, not from Google.
Children
Meow Block is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game in a way that shared personal information with us, contact us and we will help.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to ask what data relates to you, to have it deleted, or to object to its use. To make a request, email hello@krapton.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
Because we hold nothing that identifies you, we usually cannot match a person to the pseudonymous analytics or crash records. To stop all collection straight away, uninstall the game, which also deletes everything stored on your device. If you write to us, we will explain what we can do and help as far as we are able.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the game handles data, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
